EDD Formats

In addition to Spectrum's hard copy reports, your results can be sent to you in an Electronic Data Deliverable (EDD). These files are automatically generated by our LIMS, and can be used to import into your own software and data management applications.

There are several EDD formats available:

  • CAL-Trans
  • COELT 1.2a
  • DBASE IV
  • EQUIS
  • GIS/Key
  • Microsoft Access
  • Microsoft Excel
  • PDF (scanned image of report)
  • Text - comma-delimited fields
  • Text - fixed-width fields
  • Text - tab-delimited fields
  • XML

Data Quality Assessment Spreadsheets

Spectrum is now offering a Data Quality Assessment (DQA) spreadsheet to aid in the on-going Data Usability Evaluation of your projects. The DQA spreadsheet evaluates all deliverable and non-deliverable quality control parameters within the RCP and displays any non-conformances.

To ensure that an EDD is sent for your work order, you will need to fill out the appropriate section of the Chain of Custody:


Please supply an email address to send the file to, and the EDD format you would like. If no format is specified, PDF is assumed.

Custom EDD formats are available and handled at the discretion of the IT Manager and the Laboratory Director. Please contact us for more information.
